Paris Hilton seems to be serious about reviving her music career, and has reportedly started working on her new record.
The socialite, whose debut album, entitled Paris, debuted in August 2006, is now teaming up with uberproducer Storch, who helped guide Hilton through her first album and also produced chartbusting work with Beyonce Knowles, Christina Aguilera, R. Kelly, 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.
“I’m already working on my new record. I’ve been in meetings with Scott [Storch] and we’ve been working on it,” E! Online quoted Hilton, as saying.

James Bond will soon be back, in bookstores. “Devil May Care,” a novel written by British author Sebastian Faulks and authorized by the estate of the late Ian Fleming, is due to come out in 2008, the centennial of Fleming’s birth.
According to the Doubleday Broadway Publishing Group, “Devil May Care” is set during the Cold War and, like so many Bond adventures, moves about a variety of scenic locales.

Pop star Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie will soon be questioned by a Malawian welfare inspector who will be checking to see whether they are a suitable family to adopt a one-year-old Malawian boy, The Sun reported on Monday.
Citing unnamed sources, the paper said that the director of Malawi’s Ministry of Child Welfare Penston Kilembe would carry out the inspection at the couple’s central London home in about two weeks.

A Los Angeles police officer who shot an in-jail video of rapper The Game for website TMZ.com faces disciplinary action.
Los Angeles Police Department internal affairs officers have determined a video dubbed ‘The Game – Still Pimpin in Custody’ was filmed by one of their own.
In the video, taken with a cellphone camera, the rapper – real name Jayceon Taylor – was shown waving a wad of cash in his jail cell in May the day after he was arrested for making criminal threats during a street basketball game.
